Riana is an independent travel procurement specialist with over ten years of experience and is the founder of the South African based consultancy firm Procure Travel. She is passionate about empowering buyers and helping organizations identify efficiencies for cost savings and eliminate redundancies within their travel programs committed to show clients a reimagined way of travel procurement.

Riana has worked for several airline and travel companies over the span of her career, holding various senior management positions at an executive level. Some of the roles she held include national sales manager for three large international airlines, head of key accounts at one of South Africa’s largest TMCs and later, head of corporate supplier procurement at the same company, making her an ideal advisor to travel buyers. In 2017, Riana joined PTC as director for the MEA region and has since consulted on several projects to large and established South African companies, some of which are blue chip.

Known for her unique analytical approach, progressive thinking and entrepreneurial wit, Riana holds a B.Com Honors degree and is a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
